Frequently Asked Questions
Will insurance reimburse for this service?
Although the use of video technology is becoming more prominent, some insurance companies do not reimburse for the service. When possible we check benefits before the appointment and let you know your financial responsibility. We will submit a bill to your insurance company using the appropriate codes for teletherapy. We do everything we can to verify benefits before the appointment and secure reimbursement for the service. If benefits can't be verified, you have a large deductible, teletherapy is not covered by your plan, or you are not using insurance, we charge an upfront flat fee of $175. If once the claim is settled we receive any money from the insurance company and you paid the upfront flat fee, we will refund you what we receive up to the $175 you have paid.

Dr. Glynn will fax a copy of his report to your surgeon within 24 hours of your video interview. Some patients are under more stringent time constraints and if informed Dr. Glynn can accommodate any needs you may have.

As a result, Dr. Glynn only uses HIPAA compliant platforms, which complies with insurance companies requirements and increasing the chances of securing reimbursement.
